Volunteer Profiles
Bill Ennos knows a thing or two about hockey. Employed by BC Hockey since 1980, Bill has seen the sport grow over the past few decades. His favourite hockey moment came in 1988, when he worked on a project that allowed over 50 young hockey players to participate in the Olympic Torch Relay leading up to the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympic Games.
Bill’s not all about hockey though. When it comes to his favourite sports team, Bill’s loyalty is to his home province and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
As a team host at the Hockey Canada Cup – Women’s Hockey, Bill will assist team officials with their needs throughout the event, providing them with local knowledge and services including airport arrivals and transportation support.
Bill’s advice for life and event planning? “Follow the three rules of business: 1) Get the right people 2) Don’t cut corners 3) Get the right people!”
With Bill and on the volunteer roster, the Sport team is sure they’re well on their way to getting the right people.
