Thank you for visiting the Vancouver Olympic/Paralympic Centre (HIL) volunteer website.  This website is dedicated to providing information and resources to volunteers for the WCF World Wheelchair Curling and World Junior Curling Championship Sport Events.  Volunteers are essential to the success of Wheelchair Curling and Curling events and in supporting Canadian athletes to achieve podium results. 

Sport Events are major national or international events, such as World Cups or World Championships that will take place in the Vancouver and Whistler area in 2008 and 2009. In collaboration with the winter International Sport Federations, the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will be testing operations at these events. Each sport discipline will be tested at least once leading up to the 2010 Winter Games.
